Our Community

Chicago, Illinois

Located on the historic Magnificent Mile in the River North area of downtown Chicago, Dr. Mark Golden and the rest of our team at Doctors For Visual Freedom are passionate about making an impact on our local community. Dr. Golden has lived in the John Hancock Center for 20 years; in fact, he met his wife on the elevator, and they now have a 13-year-old son.
With an apartment on the 86th floor and his office on the 15th floor, Dr. Golden has a close personal history with downtown Chicago and its residents.

Community Involvement

Dr. Golden serves on the Board of Directors for the 175 East Delaware Association and is also a member of the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association.  The GNMAA is one of Chicago’s most active business associations for one of the United States’ most famous avenues.
Currently, our entire team is helping raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Dr. Golden is also a frequent judge for the Science and History Fairs at the local Ogden School, and is the sponsor of a local basketball team.
